Jewellery Care
How to Take Care of Your Jewellery?
1. Don't wear while bathing: Avoid wearing silver jewelry while bathing, as water can accelerate the oxidation of the silver jewelry. Bath products like shower gel, facial cleanser, and soaps containing sulfur can also speed up the oxidation and cause discoloration of the silver jewelry. We recommended to clean them with a dry and soft cloth after use and immediately after being exposed to water.
2. Stay away from cosmetics: Try to avoid contact with adhesives, perfumes, skincare products, sulfur soaps, hair dyes, and perms as they contain sulfur, which can diminish the luster or cause oxidation of the silver jewelry over time.
3. Avoid chemicals: Try to avoid contact with vinegar, bleach, and other chemicals. Do not wear while swimming, especially in the sea or hot springs.
4. Seal off from air: When not worn, store your silver jewelry in a sealed bag to minimize air exposure. This airtight seal helps prevent oxidation, keeps the silver jewelry from coming into contact with air and oxidizing, and prevents it from reacting with sulfur and turning black.
5. To remove any tarnish, polish your silver jewelry with a silver cloth to restore its shine. Regular use of a silver cloth helps eliminate light tarnish and prevents further tarnishing, preserving the original sparkle of your silver jewelry.
